I woke up this morning all excited, anticipating an epic day of roller coasters and fun at Six Flags with my dad and brother.  Sadly, this would not be the case.

We got there nice and early, and went to get on our first ride.  We were stopped and told to go back to the entrance and get a special pass for people using a wheelchair.  So we did.  And rightfully complained that we were never told to do so.  They told us it was OUR responsibility to ask.  Seriously?  They gave us 2 good-for-1-ride-front-of-line passes and told them both were good for all three of us.

So, we go to get back on the ride, getting dirty, uneasy looks by the people operating it.  As soon as my brother helped me onto the seat, where I proceeded to do everything myself, they tried to ask us to get off the ride because I “could not walk over on my own.”  Whatever.  Rode it and was fine.  Twice.

The real joy began when we went to go on the old wooden coaster, my favorite kind, mind you.  We were greeted with snide tones and remarks, and being told to come back in 20 minutes…so we did.  Then, the guy and this other miserable girl held us back and tried to tell us only 2 can go…when they said our pass made it all set for the three of us.  By this point, we were all pretty disgusted and fed up of dealing with this treatment all day.

We returned to “guest services” and tried to file a complain…or do SOMETHING.  They literally told my brother that there is nothing they can do and, I quote, “It’s not our fault your sister is in a wheelchair.”

Nice, huh?

Wednesday morning was what I would call a perfect morning: waking up early to an empty house and playing Final Fantasy X with my love.  The air had not a touch of humidity, and the sun was bright through the window.  We made jalepeno poppers and beat countless fiends.  Perfect morning and best summer ever.  ^_^

My name is Ammy.

Here is the low-down on anything nasty you may have heard.

4 or so months ago I made an account on a similar site, where I was automatically attacked.  In an effort of fun and defense, I made a second at the same time, which the mods knew about.  When asked to removed it, I did and only had one from there on out.  I deleted my one account and made a new SINGLE account to replace it, in an effort to escape meanies (people who picked on me).  MONTHS later, these same jerks tell everyone I have fake accounts or try and make me out to be evil.  Why?  Frankly, I have no idea.  Jealousy?  Insecurity?  Boredom?  Who knows.

I am really tired of hearing this kind of crap.  Everyone who talks to me regularly (AND a few who ACTUALLY know me) knows those who try and make me look bad are just bad eggs.

One person even went so far as to write this, attacking me in a forum.  "

The thing is, Ammy, people who walk upright have consistently been the more successful in our society. How many wheelchair bound pilots, soldiers, politicians, models, writers, and U.S. Presidents do you know of?

There was one president in a wheelchair- F.D.R. and granted, he was dope. But you're at a disadvantage. It's cute that you think you can do everything we can. But you can't. Sorry.

Go ahead. Feel harassed. Delete your profile for a third time, Ammy. Demonstrate to us, yet again, why you are the most irritating, immature, and reviled member on GG."

So, long story short, stop acusing me of ridiculousness and get a life.

The mods can SEE THE IP, so seriously...

Also, thank you to my friends.  :)  You are all the reason I am here.
